How it Works
OneClickDiet.com is a FREE service dedicated to all active people and committed athletes who understand the importance of controlling their diet. Whether your objective is to control your weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle, or improve your athletic performance, our nutrition optimizer will customize your diet for you.
Designing your own nutritional plan is a very tedious and discouraging process which requires adjusting each ingredient of a meal to meet certain caloric intake.
Our nutrition optimizer performs these calculations for you. Just insert your weight
and lifestyle characteristics, and our program will select meals from a database
of hundreds of recipes. It will adjust the proportion of the ingredients in order
to provide you with the correct amount of protein, carbohydrate and fat required
for your lifestyle activity or work-
The program will also give you a grocery shopping list and detailed recipes. All that is left to do is cook, enjoy your meals, and exercise!
We do our best to select recipes that are simple and “clean”. In doing so, we choose
cooking methods that do not require excessive processing, and preserve the ingredients’
nutritional value. In this context, steaming, boiling and grilling will be considered
preferable to frying and stir-
In the section specific for athletes and sport practitioners you can find tools to help you design a diet that takes into account the type and the level of intensity of the sport you practice. Depending on your workout schedule, body weight, gender and training objectives, you will need different amounts of protein, carbohydrate and fat in your diet. Also, your nutritional needs will change during the day. It is especially important to control your nutrients immediately before and after the workout.

In optimizing meal plans, we derive the ingredients’ nutritional values from the USDA National Nutrients Database, and the energy requirements from the American Hearth Association Diet Recommendations and the National Academy of Sciences 2002 Energy Recommendations for Adults. Percentage body fat is estimated using the methodology developed at the Naval Health Research Center.
Finally, keep in mind that no computer program can substitute for the advice of a physician or certified nutritionist. So, before entering into any diet plan please consult your physician and read our Terms of Use.
